Classes at Medieval Combat Group take two forms : our Beginners courses which run at regular intervals throughout the year, and our Monday and Wednesday Intermediate level night classes in Donegall Pass Community Centre.
The Beginners courses are open to all above the age of 16. No previous training of any kind is required, nor is any particular level of fitness. All that is necessary is a willingness to take part and listen to instruction. The group believes in being as inclusive as possible in the training, and any illnesses, injuries, limitations, or disabilities should be made known to the instructor at the start of the course so that these can be taken into account during the training.
Monday and Wednesday night classes are open to all those who have completed one of the Beginners courses. This lets us assume a basic level of skill for all in the class, and use these nights for more in-depth skills development.
